Two places, one heart: your story engraved as a framed wood map for the wall
This where we met map shows two places from your story as the two halves of one heart. Tell us where you met and where you live now. We draw a street map of each place, engrave it on real wood, laser cut each map as half of a heart and fit the halves together in a 3D layered, framed piece with your names and date. Most couples can name their two spots without thinking. The coffee shop near campus. The apartment with the terrible parking. The town neither of you planned to stay in. Put them side by side and you can see how far the two of you have come.
This piece does that in wood. One half of the heart holds the streets around the place you met. The other half holds the streets around the home you share today. Under each half we engrave a short caption, such as ‘Where we met’ and ‘Where we live’, with the coordinates of that spot. Your names and date run along the bottom.
It suits a fifth anniversary, which is traditionally the wood one, and it works just as well for an engagement, a wedding or a first home. The two places do not have to be met and live. First date and proposal, her hometown and his, the two cities of a long-distance year. You choose the story.

How to Order
- Choose your size from the Size menu.
- In the personalization box, type your two places in order, left half first. A full address or a city and state both work.
- After each place, add the short caption you want under it, such as Where we met or Where we live.
- Add your names and your date for the bottom line.
- Check your spelling and add to cart. We will message you if we have a question about a location.
Care
Keep it dry and out of strong direct sun. Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
