A wood map of the USA with 50 state pieces to add, one for every state your family visits
This USA travel map is a wood travel tracker with all 50 states as separate laser-cut pieces. Each state has its own place on the map. Add a piece every time you visit a new state and watch the country fill in. It is real wood in a natural finish, in one size, about 18 x 11 inches. On the Wording menu, choose the standard engraved line, Our Travels, or your own wording. Each map is cut to order in our shop in Texas. Free Shipping in the US.
Somewhere around the fourth or fifth state, families start keeping count. Someone asks whether an airport layover counts. Someone else insists you have to eat a meal there. The rules get argued at every rest stop, and that is half the fun.
This map settles the count. Every state is its own small piece of wood. When you get home from a trip, the kids find the new state in the pile and put it in its place. The empty spots are just as good as the full ones, because they show where you are going next.
It suits a family with a camper, a couple setting out to see all fifty, or grandparents who finally have time for the long way around. Hang it by the door where the bags get dropped, and it becomes the first stop after every trip.
Also Perfect For
- RV and camper families
- Wedding and anniversary gifts for couples who love the road
- Retirement gifts for someone setting out to see the country
- Homeschool and classroom geography walls
- Christmas gifts for the whole family
Where It Looks Best
Hang it in the entryway, hallway or family room, anywhere the whole family walks past. It also suits a playroom, a home office or the wall of a camper.
