Your city’s streets in 3D layered wood, laser cut, engraved and framed for your wall
This custom city map shows the streets of your city in 3D layered real wood, framed for the wall. Tell us the city. We draw the map for that place, then laser cut the street grid and engrave the city name and coordinates. Rivers, lakes and the coastline sit a layer below the streets, so the map has real depth. Five sizes are on the Size menu, and you pick from 3 choices on the Frame color menu. Cut to order in our shop in Texas. Free Shipping in the US.
Everyone has a city they would know from the air. The bend in the river. The grid that tilts where the old town meets the new. The bridge you crossed every morning for six years. Hand someone a map of that place and they go straight to their own corner of it.
This map is made for that moment. The streets are cut from real wood and stand above the water, so the river and the shoreline drop away beneath them. The city name and coordinates are engraved along the bottom. We can also mark one address with a small heart: the first apartment, the old family house, the shop where the business began.
It is a good gift for someone who just moved, and a better one for someone who had to leave. A hometown on the wall of a new place makes it feel like home a little sooner.
Also Perfect For
- Housewarming and first home gifts
- Realtor closing gifts
- Going-away gifts for a friend or coworker who is moving
- Wedding and anniversary gifts showing the city where you met
- A hometown map for someone living far from home
Where It Looks Best
Hang it above a desk, a console table or the sofa, or in a hallway where guests can look for their own street. Pick the frame color that sits best with the other frames in the room.
