Lake Tahoe in 3D layered wood, with the water cut in depth layers and stained blue
This Lake Tahoe map is a 3D layered wood map of the whole lake, laser cut and engraved in real wood. The water is cut in layers, so the lake steps down from the shoreline toward its deepest water. Shoreline towns and place names are engraved on top. Pick the water stain from 2 choices on the Water Color menu, Blue Green or Deep Blue. The land stays natural wood. Two sizes are on the Size menu. Each map is cut to order in our shop in Texas. Free Shipping in the US.
Everyone who loves Tahoe has their own corner of it. The beach where the kids first braved the cold water. The bay you paddle into before the wind comes up. The pullout on the east shore where you always stop, even when you are running late.
This map holds the whole lake in one piece of wall art. The shoreline is cut clean and the water drops away in layers, so the deep middle of the lake sits below the shallows. Run a finger around the shore and you will stop at your spot without thinking about it.
It suits the cabin you just closed on, the rental you come back to every summer, or the house far from the mountains where you still miss that blue. It is an easy gift for the person who taught you to love the lake.
Also Perfect For
- Housewarming gifts for a new cabin or lake house
- Wedding and anniversary gifts for couples married at the lake
- Retirement gifts for someone moving to the mountains
- Thank-you gifts for the family who shares their cabin
- Vacation rental and guest room walls
Where It Looks Best
Hang it where people gather: above the mantel, in the entryway, or on the wall beside the cabin dining table. It also suits a home office far from the lake.
