Your words spiral around a real wood record, from the outer edge in to the center label.
This first dance song art is a record cut from real wood, with your words running in a spiral where the grooves would be. You supply everything it says: your names, a date, a song title and artist, and the words you want on it. We never supply lyrics, so type or paste exactly what you want. Pick the record’s stain color from four choices on the Wood color menu. Five diameters are on the Size menu. Each one is cut to order in our shop in Texas, with Free Shipping in the US.
There is usually one song. It was on in the car on the second date, or it played while you walked onto the floor with everyone watching, and you still turn it up when it comes on.
This piece gives that song a shape. The record is wood, the words circle in toward the center, and your names and date sit in the middle like a label. People stop and read it the way they would read liner notes.
It does not have to be a song. Wedding vows fit well. So does a letter to a daughter, a poem you wrote, or the toast your best man gave. Whatever you send is what we make, word for word. It is a natural pick for a fifth anniversary, the wood one, and for a couple who has everything except this.
Also Perfect For
- First and fifth anniversaries
- Wedding and engagement gifts
- Wedding vows kept after the ceremony
- Father-daughter and mother-son dance keepsakes
- Music lovers and record collectors
Where It Looks Best
On a shelf, mantel or bedside table, or on a wall beside your wedding photos. It reads best at arm’s length, where the spiral of words can be followed.

- You supply every word. We do not look up, choose or provide song lyrics.
